McQuaid Commercial Closes Deal in Queen Anne
March 31, 2008: McQuaid Commercial is pleased to announce the sale of the Interbay Apartments, a 7+1 non-conforming unit 1963 apartment building located in West Queen Anne.
The local seller, Mr. Bereiter, sold the building to a local buyer at a sales price of $1,035,000. Bereiter had owned the building for ten years and sold it in order to simplify his life and take advantage of “a strong sellers market.” The buyer is part of an ownership group that has immediate neighborhood experience.
The price was attractive, as it reflected $129,375 per door. The whole transaction closed in less than 10 days and was literally an all cash sale.
The building was originally a 6 unit with a full basement, and was built one year after the Seattle World’s Fair in 1962.
